– The IGE+XAO Group announces that it has just signed a strategic partnership agreement with "SOFTELEC Gestión y servisos Informáticos", a Spanish company which markets the ESQUEMALEC software application. This Computer-Aided Design software application dedicated to Electrical Engineering (Electrical CAD) is, in its field, with more than 4,500 customers, the software application most popular in Spain.
With this agreement, SOFTELEC and IGE+XAO will join their efforts to provide ESQUEMALEC users with a migration solution to the SEE ELECä software application, which is edited by CAE Development Aps, a Danish company now 100% controlled by the IGE+XAO Group.
For IGE+XAO, this partnership allows the Group to consolidate its market share on the Spanish manufacturing and building markets, in particular amongst small and medium-sized companies. "This partnership is in total compliance with the strategy announced by the Group. Today, with SOFTELEC, IGE+XAO should soon become the most important base of customers equipped with Electrical CAD software applications in Spain", says Alain Di Crescenzo, Chairman and CEO of the IGE+XAO Group.
As for Angel Hernandez Arenas, SOFTELEC General Manager, "This operation allows ESQUEMALEC users to perpetuate their investment thanks to IGE+XAO which is, in my opinion, with more than 40,000 licences sold in the world, the most solid, the most innovating and the most dynamic supplier of the market.

— Having already acquired 51% of the Danish company CAE
Development Aps in 2001, the IGE+XAO Group announces the purchase of the remaining 49% of the shares.
CAE Development Aps writes the software programme 'CADdy++ Electrical' dedicated to the medium to low range of Electrical CAD (Computer-Aided Design) products.
With this acquisition, the Group IGE+XAO clearly underlines its intention to become the world leader in Electrical CAD in the medium to low range of the market for manufacturing and building. IGE+XAO anticipates a big increase in this sector of the market where today it has already sold 20,000 licences.
Further, this acquisition is intended to appreciably increase its investments in the complete range of 'CADdy++ Electrical', which will now be integrated in the solutions on offer from IGE+XAO. The first stage will comprise the launching of new products on the world market, notably The United States and China in the fourth quarter of 2005.
This operation is taken into full account by IGE+XAO Group, which has a powerful ability to invest, enabling it to grow both internally and by external acquisition.
