For this new version, the emphasis has been put on customer requests with the objective to facilitate daily work and to make the software package more powerful and more productive.

Faster !

Thanks to the optimization of the kernel at the graphical engine and data structure levels ; this new version offers improved performances on the display and processing times. In addition, project size no longer relates significantly to processing times. Large electrical projects management, either in local or on the network, is greatly improved. Up to : 75% time saving of sheet copy/paste 60% on block insertion 30% on cabling update processes 80% on project migration

Safer !

Secure and optimize electrical schematics use while easily migrating projects. During the migration process, SEE Electrical Expert corrects possible data structure incoherencies therefore ensuring preventive maintenance. In addition to numerous manual tests made by our teams, a daily automatic testing campaign has been run during the development and the validation processes.

More functional !

- Possibility to link « other » slave types to “coil” type (for example link a coil to its hydraulic representation or manage complex electrical components). - Modification of all tags of the installation according to new context (function/localisation) with one command. - A greater performance naming mode for data legacy. The new function “name” allows very quickly the effect of all tags (components, connections,..) and attributes (for instance I/O cards addresses and shortnames). - New property for connection types: Fiber, wire or aerial. - Harness Documentation Module : splices management directly in the sheet allowing the management of complex cabling. - New search tool for equipment catalogue: Search by part number or designation in all classes. - Immediate display of object properties (info tags) - « Purge » function to eliminate functions/localisations which are no longer available in the project (after a copy and modifications for instance). - …

With SEE Electrical Expert V3R7, manage technical data, share design information, automate workflows and improve collaboration between engineering and manufacturing teams spread geographically.
