Automatic Diagram Generation is an easy-to-use tool, using Excel file and SEE Electrical and Expert software to speedy generate electrical documentation. It is dedicated to the Scale level of SEE Electrical and SEE Electrical Expert.

Project managing and edition in Excel

Product or project configuration within a simple Excel spreadsheet:
The entire structure of an electrical project can be managed using Excel. The user then declares which electrical block or macro he wants to use and in which diagram. The location of the blocks and all electrical parameters of the associated symbols should also be provided to Excel spreadsheet. User choses blocks from the block library existing in SEE Electrical Expert environment.

Options and variants management:
Because a project is described in Excel, user can easy declare new option, solution or variant. In fact, user has for his disposal an electrical database of the project. It's easier to manage naming and parametrization, especially when designer must make many repetitive schemes with different names and codes. For example, if you design big switchboard LV with repetitive electrical fields, this will be really useful. If you are instrumentation designer, you can use this tool for generation of hundreds instrumentation drawings like drawings for industrial control, measurements, regulations and communication. The number of needed diagrams is huge, and every symbol representing pressure gauge, flow meter, thermocouple, level sensor etc. needs their own method of naming, and catalogue code.

After configuration of the application, you can finally generate all diagrams very quickly. Process interprets the configuration and generate drawing by drawing in SEE Electrical Expert software. After, the project is available in SEE Electrical Expert and can be edited, printed, and so on.
